What is Indy Juvederm® VOLUMA® & VOLBELLA®?
Juvederm® VOLUMA® (made by Allergan, the makers of Botox Cosmetic) is a new cross-linked hyaluronic acid filler that was FDA approved in the United States in November of 2013. Juvederm® VOLUMA® is FDA approved specifically for volume loss in the cheeks and is formulated to be injected deeper, next to the bone. Juvederm® VOLUMA® has been used in Europe for the past 8 years and in Canada for the past 4 years with tremendous praise by plastic surgeons and dermatologists.
Juvederm® VOLBELLA® is the latest cross-linked hyaluronic acid filler that was FDA approved in October of 2016. What makes Juvederm® VOLBELLA® unique is its FDA indication for the fine vertical lip lines and the lips themselves. Juvederm® VOLBELLA® is unique in that it has a 1 year indication from the FDA.
How long does Indy Juvederm® VOLUMA® & VOLBELLA® last?
Juvederm® VOLUMA® has been shown to last for up to 24 months (2 years). Studies from Allergan consistently show that 76% of patients were still satisfied with their results after 2 years post treatment. After injection the body naturally starts breaking Juvederm® VOLUMA® down into simple sugars and this process may take a total of 24 months or more to complete. In the mean time, you enjoy the benefits of increased volume in the face!
Juvederm® VOLBELLA®has been shown to last for up to 12 months post injection and like all other Hyaluronic acids, the body breaks Juvederm® VOLBELLA®into simple sugars. It is great for treating the lip lines without causing the thick upper lip "monkey" face syndrome.
Does Indy Juvederm® VOLUMA® hurt?
Juvederm® VOLUMA® & VOLBELLA®is well tolerated by most patients. Allergan's Juvederm® VOLUMA® & VOLBELLA® comes premixed with lidocaine, making the injections much more comfortable than previous fillers. Numbing creams and ice packs can help with any discomfort. Happy Clinic Denver uses a cannula technique for delivering Juvederm VOLUMA®& VOLBELLA®to the face - making the procedure almost painless with minimal swelling and bruising.
How will I look post-treatment of Indy Juvederm® VOLUMA® & VOLBELLA?
Post-treatment injection sites will have some redness and swelling. Most patients can return to work the next day without any problems. Patients will see an immediate lifting of the cheeks post procedure with Juvederm®VOLUMA® Patients will see an immediate improvement in their fine lip lines with Juvederm® VOLBELLA®
Post procedure instructions:
Post-treatment injection sites will have some redness and swelling. Most patients can return to work the next day without any problems. Lip augmentation with Juvederm® or Restylane® will look grossly enlarged for the first 24-48 hours with a return to normalcy in 3-5 days. It is recommended that you do lip augmentation with Juvederm® or Restylane® on a Friday, thus being able to return to work by Monday.
What is the cost of Indy Juvederm® VOLUMA®?
Happy Clinic Indy charges $800 per 1.0 cc syringe of Juvederm® VOLUMA®. How many syringes you will need depends on the volume loss you have experienced with aging. Typical patients from 20-35 years old need 1 syringe, 40-55 years old need 2 syringes, and 60+ years old need 3+ syringes for a full correction. Juvederm® VOLBELLA® is priced at $400 for a .55cc syringe and 1 syringe can typically do a nice correction to the vertical lip lines

Can I do Juvederm® VOLUMA® & VOLBELLA® Botox® at the same visit?
Yes. Botox® Cosmetic and dermal fillers such as Juvederm® VOLUMA® & VOLBELLA® often used together to give the total non-surgical rejuvenation. Most patients choose to undergo both treatments at the same time to reduce the inconveniece of coming back. Others choose to do them separately for financial or other reason.
Where is Indy Juvederm® VOLUMA® & VOLBELLA® administered?
Juvederm® VOLUMA® can be administered anywhere you want volume, including cheeks, undereye area, chin, and jawline.
Juvederm® VOLBELLA® is typically administered in the fine lip lines, lip borders, and lip body as well as other areas of the face where a "fine brush" filler would work well like the fine cheek lines, undereye hollows, etc...

All Indianapolis Juvederm® VOLUMA® & VOLBELLA® injections are done by Dr. Robert Jackson, MD or Dr. Chris Lowery, MD at Happy Clinic Indy. Dr. Jackson has over 30 years experience in performing cosmetic procedures, with thousands of procedures done safely and effectively, while Dr. Lowery has over 6 years experience in performing cosmetic procedures.
