Lutronic Laser Denver Spectra Peel - For Enlarged Pores, Melasma, and/or Active Acne

What is the Denver SpectraPeel?

The Lutronic Denver Laser SpectraPeel is a new procedure specifically done for the reduction of large pores and active acne.  It is a 3 step process. The first step is the application of a topical photo-enhancer carbon lotion that will seep deeply into the pores. In the second step, the Lutronic Spectra Laser treatment will be applied to the facial area causing stimulation of the skin cells.  In the third step, the laser will then be used to create a peeling effect to remove the topical photo-enhancer lotion.

How does the Denver SpectraPeel work?

The laser light from the Denver SpectraPeel will clean away the skin surface and clogged pores.  This reduces oil production and pore size to generate collagen remodeling.

What can the Denver SpectraPeel do for my enlarged pores?

Certain conditions associated with enlarged pores can be safely and dramatically reduced for both men and women.  Your physician will evaluate your condition and determine if you are a qualified candidate.

How many treatments are required for the Denver SpectraPeel?

In most cases, 3-5 treatments will be required for optimum and long-lasting results.  It is recommended that treatments are repeated every 2-3 weeks for pore size reduction.  For maintaining clinical results, treatments should be performed twice a year.

How does the Denver SpectraPeel reduce my enlarged pores?

A photo-enhancer lotion will be applied to your facial area, which is naturally absorbed into the pores.  Next, the laser's energy is utilized to create heat causing a photo-acoustical effect to remove excessive sebum, clean away dead skin cells, and simultaneously unclog the pores.  This process stimulates the inner walls of the pores as well as promoting collagen remodeling.

How long will my results last from the Denver SpectraPeel?

While laser treatments are considered to be long -lasting, they are not permanent.  Patients can help maintain the new appearance by carefully following post-care instructions and by avoiding prolonged sun exposure.

Is there a risk of complications with the Denver SpectraPeel?

SpectraPeel is a safe treatment that is performed on thousands of men and women each year, with varying skin types.  Most patients (greater than 90%) have no downtime associated with the procedure and can return to work immediately.  There is an initial feeling of tightness that may last for a day and some pinkness that may last for a few hours.
