Why did Happy Clinic Indy choose SkinMedica as its official skincare line?
SkinMedica started over 10 years ago and has quickly become one of the most recognizable physician dispensed skin care brands in the industry. In 2012, SkinMedica started catching the eye of Allergan, the makers of Botox and Juvederm, and was subsequently aquired by Allergan in December of 2012 for $350 million dollars. Allergan could have bought any skin care company in the world, but they chose SkinMedica because of its foundation in science and research.
SkinMedica has become synonymous with an ingredient called TNS (standing for Tissue Nutrient Solution) that is probably one of the most amazing ingredients to be added to skin care. TNS is created from real human skin tissue that is grown in a lab. Its job all day long is to absorb a nutrient media and produce skin growth factors and collagen.
SkinMedica has a patented process for creating a highly concentrated serum of human skin growth factors that are absorbed into the skin and stimulate your own skin cells to grow more collagen. As we age, we break down collagen much faster than we can produce it. TNS actually helps to reverse this process, by helping us create more collagen.

As part of any skin care regimen, I highly recommend:
- No smoking!
